Thank you for using AquaDraft. Here is a summary of features added, improvements made, and bugs fixed since the v0.1.0 release (June 11, 2026).
New Features
Asset Lock
Added an “Asset Lock” feature that prevents accidental movement of placed objects.
- With an asset selected, press the L key or the 🔒 Lock button to lock it
- While locked, drag-to-move, delete (× button), and duplicate (Alt+drag) are disabled
- The asset remains selected, so you can check its state or unlock it at any time
- Lock state is saved and restored via JSON files
Expanded Layout Save Data
The JSON save file now includes additional settings.
- Newly saved fields: cabinet color / substrate color / water level / background screen / budget notes
- JSON files saved with older versions still load correctly (backwards compatible)
Library Page Redesign
The community layout gallery has been redesigned as a card grid. You can see a featured image, title, and description at a glance, and download the JSON from each card’s post page to open it directly in the simulator.
Library Nav Dropdown
Hovering over “Library” in the navigation now shows a dropdown with quick access to “Layout Gallery” and “Submit a Layout”.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where Microsorum (Java Fern) lost its green color and appeared gray when copied or loaded from JSON.
