We’ve added Anacharis and Anacharis II to the plants in AquaDraft.
A Classic, Easy-Going Plant
Anacharis is a stem plant with small leaves arranged in whorls along a long, slender stem. It’s hardy, easy to grow, and often the first plant people put in a new tank. It grows well without CO2 injection, and it grows fast.
Two Growth Patterns
Even within a single species, leaf density and stem growth vary a lot from plant to plant. We’ve split that variation into two types.
- Anacharis — Finer leaves, spreading outward into a bushier shape.
- Anacharis II — Stronger upright stems with more vertical growth.
Mixing both types keeps a planting from looking repetitive and reads as a more natural thicket. They grow tall and have real presence, so standing a few in the background makes a tank feel planted straight away.
You’ll find them under “Single Placement” in the plant menu. ▶ Try AquaDraft
